When I lack of inspiration to write a new post (fact: happens very often) or I am just drowning in a sea of pictures from the last shooting or travel, I use to go back in time and review old pictures. Look at things with some distance can be very helpful… sometimes.
I try not to stay in the past for a long time, otherwise I can end up feeling kind of dizzy, but I just may find something insparing and that will make the day for me.
In normal circumstances, your skills should improve with time and practice, but it also true that some ingenuity is lost.
Any of the events that take place at Bonneville Salt Flats would not be possible without all the people that put their hearts, time and money into it. They believe, so do we.
No matter who you are or what brings you to Bonneville, you may be part of the staff, press, volunteers, owners, drivers, sometimes even their pets!, accidental travelers… once you tread on the salt you are part of it and you will not want to step back. I can tell.
The more you go to NYC, the less stranger you are. People in general and newyorkers in particular will not notice this fact but it does not matter, The City will and it will reward you.
We decided to celebrate Sol’s birthday in NYC, a city we love and here it is, the modest result of walking around Manhattan with your camera. You will find a wide range of beatiful, interesting, quotidian subjects and things that deserve to appear a few seconds in your lens.
